$90 for a 3d file for a box? And 5kg of filament? Passsssssssss. Would cost 10x less, be 10x faster to make and be more ridged to make it out of a few 2x4s, or extrusion, with some readily available acrylic panel mounts.

Used this trick literally today. Found some simple S hooks I could use, and found that it was a little too thick/tall for my liking, so I scaled that down a bit, and then found that I needed smaller hooks for the smaller bars I had, so I scaled the whole thing down by 50% and boom, perfection.

Having learned mold making, wood carving, wax model/lost wax and many other old methods of reproduction in art school I fail to see how fiddling with buttons and pictures for the same amount or more hours than it would take me is of any benefit. I already fix or make just about everything with molds, plastic welding, carving etc. and I get faster every time I do it. I can appreciate you trying to attract new enthusiasts to a new industry but observing the complexity as opposed to results this all seems like a very long walk to get to a place that literally vanishes if the electricity fails. Good luck with all of that.

I gotta apologize, a few videos I had said I hadn't heard you be critical of products, especially provided products. It's clear my memory and perception was wrong. Of course it would be impossible for anyone to prove there is no influence because of free products and relationships, but I definitely underestimated the number of times you fairly criticized products. On a separate note, I am really interested in the slunaz ff1r filament joiner. It looks like besides making sure you can use remainders of filament, you can produce some really cool aesthetic effects. And the video coverage of that device is very limited.

A problem I'm having with my Bambu P1S. Let's take a cube for instance. Now lets put a couple holes in it that do not go all the way through. They are not directly on top of each other but are slightly offset and separated by a 1mm wall. When I try to slice it I get a warning that there are floating areas and if I try to print it, it doesn't stick to the plate. If I enable supports it changes the object. It gets all kinds of stryations and puts supports underneath the object. What am I doing wrong and how do I correct this? I can send pics if neeced.

This trick can be very useful, but always remember that any tolerance gap will scale accordingly, so mechanisms and fittings can become sloppier.

I love my MK3S+ with MMU2s. About your comments about this printer. I also replaced the nozzle with an E3D Revo. Furthermore I run it with Octoprint. But main thing: slow? I have my MK3S+ running not so slow at all. My Revo has a 0.6mm nozzle most of the time. But also I just use the pre installed settings for filaments to eventually run the prints at 200% speed with no problems at all (sometimes increasing nozzle temperature). Slow? It can print twice as fast. And with a 0.6 nozzle instead of 0.4....... even faster
